Prep 6 Maths Lesson
In Mrs Leaver’s Maths group this week, the Prep 6s have been real investigators!
They have been developing their problem-solving skills by exploring patterns between the number of sides of a polygon and the sum of its interior angles. Working collaboratively in pairs, the pupils discovered an exciting link between the number of internal triangles that can be formed within a shape and the number of sides it has. This led them to realise that they could use a formula to calculate the sum of the interior angles of any polygon. Fantastic teamwork and mathematical thinking all round!
