Rock and Pop Concert 2026
This year’s Rock and Pop Concert was a fantastic evening of music, energy, and outstanding talent.
Bands from across the Senior School performed brilliantly, showcasing the passion and skill of our young musicians under the direction of Mr Lynch. The concert opened with an electrifying set from the percussion ensembles, setting the tone for an evening filled with energy and excitement.
From that moment on, the theatre was alive with one impressive performance after another.
A special mention goes to Isla (Senior 8), Amber (Senior 11), and brothers Stanley and Humphrey, who took to the stage as soloists after winning the vocal categories in this year’s Pop Musician of the Year competition. They were superbly supported by this year’s House Band—Dom, Matheus, Wyatt and Mattia—who played with confidence and flair throughout the evening.
Congratulations to Ibstock Contemporary Voices (formerly Jazz Choir) and Ibstones for their excellent performances, which brought further depth and variety to the programme.
Thank you to everyone who came along to support the concert and helped make it such a memorable and uplifting occasion.
