Shakespeare's Globe Visit
Senior 7 pupils enjoyed their first trip of 2024 to Shakespeare’s Globe.
Pupils were immersed in the sights, sounds, and secrets of Shakespeare’s London, travelling through over 400 years of fascinating history in an interactive exhibition. Fun costumes and props enhanced the experience and provided the perfect opportunity for pupils to get ready for the stage!
Later, through a guided Shakespearean walking tour of the South Bank, they explored Elizabethan London taking in key landmarks including the original Globe site, Bishop of Winchester's Palace, the Golden Hinde replica, the George Inn, and Southwark Cathedral.
